Vice President Harris said she would “encourage innovative technologies like AI and digital assets while protecting our consumers and investors” as President during comments made at a Wall Street fundraiser, according to a Bloomberg reporter present.
This statement represents VP Harris' first publicly-reported crypto-related comments since becoming a Presidential nominee. While it strikes a somewhat positive tone on crypto, many members of the community still have questions about her position overall, specifically as it relates to actions taken by various parts of the Biden-Harris administration over their past three years in office.
